THE OPPORTUNITY
(Business Services Manager)
(Salary: $110k – $150k including super)
The firm have always been big on candidates who have a natural flair for business development and “bigger picture” matters for clients so if you have an interest and desire to deal with clients in an advisory and business improvement space, this role could be for you.
The want someone who oozes passion for delivering to clients, sound technical knowledge, strong leadership skills and long-term growth goals.
Whilst the role will still involve compliance and tax, those services will be used as a launch pad to value add and focus on advisory and business improvement strategies.
Core Responsibilities include:
- Managing a small team of accountants
- Workflow management
- WIP control
- Delegating and reviewing work
- Consulting with clients
- Considering business development opportunities
- Providing a value-add service to clients
- High-end advisory work which can include business improvement, structuring/restructuring, strategic planning and initiatives, financial management and reporting
THE CANDIDATE
Skills & Experience
- CA/CPA qualified
- At least 8 years’ public practice experience in business services and tax
- At least 1 years’ experience working as a Manager
- An interest in value-add services
- A “go-getter” attitude!
- Previous business advisory experience desired
- Long-term aspirations to become a Partner
