Receptionist/Administration Assistant – Boutique Chartered Accounting Firm

THE FIRM
Our client is a well-established accounting practice, led by 3 Partners and supported by a team of 20 who focus on building close, professional relationships with clients.
They services a varied base of clients including property developers, investors, professionals, medical centers and small businesses, offering a range of services including accounting and tax compliance, financial reporting, superannuation and business management.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Due to a long-term member of staff exiting the practice, they are now urgently seeking an experienced and motivated Administration Assistant to join their team.
Whilst working alongside two other part-time staff in the admin space, you will work across a range of duties from reception to general administration to corporate services.
Responsibilities will include:
- Reception duties
- Answering phone lines
- Typing letters/correspondence
- Finalising accounts and tax returns
- Assisting accountants as required
- ASIC/Corporate registry maintenance
- Tax return lodgements
- ATO Correspondence
- General administration
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within public practice
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
- Friendly and adaptable personality
- Previous experience with MYOB AE
