THE OPPORTUNITY

As a culture who embrace staff development and career growth, they present the opportunity for an experienced and motivated Intermediate Accountant to step into the shoes of a recently promoted member of staff.

The position will entail working in compliance and tax with the following responsibilities:

• Assisting business clients with their financial reporting and tax compliance obligations including:
  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns
  • BAS/IAS/FBT/GST compliance
  • Correspondence with ATO on behalf of clients
  • Liaising directly with clients on a regular basis
• Developing advisory skills in the areas of Financial Forecasting, KPI reporting, Business Structures/ Restructures & Taxation Advice

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

To be considered for this career changing role, the following criteria must be met:

• Degree qualification
• Commenced or desire to commence CA studies
• At least 2 years’ public practice accounting experience
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ambition and drive to continue developing
• Previous experience with Xero (advantageous)
